Dr. Jon D. Vogel

Dr. Vogel graduated from UCLA in 1967 with a degree in history. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry, and graduated (with honors) in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Optics and Doctorate degree in optometry. His hobbies include surfing, skiing, swimming, golf, volleyball and table tennis. He is a native Californian, married with two children. He has engaged in the private practice of optometry and specialized vision care since 1971, with offices in Westwood Village. He is an adjunct clinical professor of contact lenses for Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Vogel is a member of Los Angeles County Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Vogel’s practice provides comprehensive eye examinations, fitting of all types of contact lenses, treatment of eye disease and dry eyes and emergency eye care. In addition, he offers Lasik surgery consultation and co-management, cataract surgery consultation and co-management and cosmetic surgery consultation and co-management. The optical boutique offers a large and wide-ranging inventory of fashion eyewear and sunglasses with a full-service optical laboratory on premises.

Dr. Lorin Vogel
Dr. Lorin Vogel was born to be an optometrist. Raised in Los Angeles , Dr. Lorin Vogel followed in his father's footsteps and also graduated from U.C.L.A. For his doctorate, he attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston , Massachusetts . Dr. Vogel’s interests include attending as much live music as possible, working out and skiing.
While at the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Vogel chose an emphasis in the areas of pediatric vision care and contact lenses.
During the summer of 2007, Dr. Vogel volunteered his time performing eye care in Battambang , Cambodia through the SEVA Foundation. Alongside Dr. Donna Weiss, the two doctors treated hundreds of local men, women and children in desperate need of eye care.

Dr. Bahareh Golbahar

Dr. Bahareh Golbahar completed her undergraduate education at UCLA, graduating
Summa Cum Laude in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She attended the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating in 2002.
Dr. Golbahar completed a year of postgraduate (fellowship) training, with an emphasis on Low Vision, at the Jules Stein Eye Institute.

Dr. Annie Hu

Dr. Annie Hu completed her undergraduate education in 1997 at UC Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Cell Biology. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating
Summa Cum Laude in 2002.
Dr. Hu completed a year of postgraduate (fellowship) training, with an emphasis on Contact Lenses, at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and the Los Angeles County Optometric Association.

Dr. Donna Weiss
Dr. Donna Weiss originally hails from northern Minnesota. A recent transplant from New York City, Dr. Weiss originally established herself as a contact lens specialist at the renowned contact lens specialty practice of Drs. Farkas, Kassalow, and Resnik in Manhattan.
Dr. Weiss holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physiology and Visual Science. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005, where she graduated with honors. In private practice, Dr. Weiss specializes in contact lens fittings while also providing comprehensive eye examinations, treating ocular pathology and co-managing refractive surgeries.
By keeping at the forefront of her field, Dr. Weiss conducts research on presbyopia, lectures on keratoconic contact lenses, and continues to earn certifications to advance her optometric skills and knowledge. Her hobbies include rock climbing, skiing, music and volunteering. To this date, she has provided free eye care in Guayaquil, Equador and Battambang, Cambodia.
