Village Eyes Optometry has been in Westwood Village, a suburb of Los Angeles near UCLA, for over 30 years. We carry a fantastic selection of eyewear including sunglasses and sports eyewear. We also specialize in contact lenses, and offer a wide variety and selection including soft, rigid gas permeable (RGP), bifocal, toric (astigmatism-correcting) custom-tinted as well as contact lenses to improve nearsightedness through corneal molding (also known as orthokeratology). We also specialize in treating keratoconus and irregular corneas. In addition, we treat eye disease and offer emergency and urgency eye care. Our doctors pride themselves on their patience and their willingness to work as hard as they can to satisfy your vision care needs. We are here to help you.

We have five eye doctors on staff at Village Eyes. Dr. Jon Vogel, our founder, is a graduate of UCLA and an Honors graduate of Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Jon Vogel specializes in contact lenses. He is an adjunct clinical professor of contact lenses for Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Southern College of Optometry.  Dr. Lorin Vogel has recently joined the practice. He also graduated from UCLA and completed his professional education at New England College of Optometry. His fields of interest are pediatric vision care, eye exercises and sports vision and contact lenses. Dr. Bahareh Golbahar graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in 1998, then attended the Southern California College of Optometry, and did a year of post-graduate training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute. She now practices general optometry and specializes in low vision. Dr. Annie Hu graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry, and spent an additional year as a post-graduate fellow at the UCLA/Jules Stein Eye Institute. She practices general optometry as well, and specializes in contact lenses. Dr. Donna Weiss has recently joined the practice.  She graduated with Honors from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005.  She specializes in contact lenses and general optometry.  She has lectured on the topic of specialized contact lenses for irregular corneas due to certain corneal diseases as well as post surgical complications.
